London’s West End shows can be seen in one of the forty theatres stretching from Oxford Street down Regent Street across Leicester Square and around Covent Garden.
From the opening of the first West End theatre in Drury Lane in 1663, locals and visitors of the capital flocked in their droves to the West End to be entertained and enthralled by the various shows on offer.

With five West End theatres holding over two thousand people The London Palladium, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Apollo Victoria Theatre, The Lyceum Theatre and The Dominion Theatre the atmosphere inside can be electric. I remember many years ago going to see Mary Poppins at the Palladium near Oxford Street, it was an amazing experience laughing and crying with joy with hundreds of other theatre goes after seeing a great performance.
Other than perhaps Broadway in New York you are not likely to see such a variety of performances. Current long running shows include Kinky Boots, Les Miserables, The Lion King, The Book of Mormon and Phantom of The Opera but to name a few.
There are various ways you can travel to and from the West End. Either in your own car, public transport such as London buses or by tube depending on how far you have to travel.
An alternative means of arriving at the many London theatre shows could be by a chauffeur driven car. This allows for you and your guests to travel to your night out at the theatre in comfort without the hassle of worrying about taking public transport.
